Fieldcraft Cohort

Instructed by Jon Turner, USMC veteran, this cohort-style 3-part wilderness survival series will provide methods to cover basic needs of survival in the wilderness — Shelter, Water, Fire, Food, and Tools — by using modern and primitive resources.

From beginner level knowledge like knot-tying and knife skills all the way to advanced skills like cold-weather survival and working with primitive tools, this wilderness survival series will provide you with the knowledge and skills to survive in the wilderness. Each workshop will highlight multiple approaches to meet the basic needs of survival and there will be several opportunities to test gear in the field.

This 3-part series will take place as a cohort, giving you the opportunity to learn alongside a group of like-minded peers — your fellow veterans and first responders! With each workshop, you’ll develop your skills and grow alongside each other, working as a team.

These workshops will take place once per month from October to December, each running three days from Friday to Sunday. As a group, we’ll work our way from beginner-level skills all the way up to advanced skills — and during the final workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to test your skills for real alongside your cohort while under the guidance of the instructor.

Another Summit is able to provide equipment for this course.
