iRest is a deep meditation practice used worldwide for its positive impact on the mind and body. This practice relieves stress and pain, improves sleep, and helps reset your nervous system. Used in military and first responder settings as a top-tier approach to mental health & wellness, iRest is rapidly growing in popularity in our guardian communities.
We’re welcoming you & your family back to the ballpark this summer to enjoy Hudson Valley Renegades baseball games at their home in Heritage Financial Park. As the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, the Renegades provide local baseball fans with great games. This Guardian Homefront event is for family members & their guardians (kids welcome!).
Join us for a beginner friendly two-day canoe camping trip where you’ll get to learn the basics of canoe camping while relaxing and connecting with fellow veterans and first responders.
DIFFICULTY: 🟦 Blue (easy)
Our annual One Mile Challenge is simple but impactful: walk, run, or roll one mile each day of September. OMC is a virtual event, and you will self-monitor your progress. Make your mile happen wherever you are or want to go, whenever works for you. OMC is a powerful way to raise awareness around mental health for those who serve — and to help fund our free programs for guardians & families.
Join Another Summit and Accipiter Fieldcraft for our 2026 Fieldcraft Cohort. Instructed by Jon Turner, USMC veteran, this cohort-style 3-part wilderness survival series will provide methods to cover basic needs of survival in the wilderness — Shelter, Water, Fire, Food, and Tools — by using modern and primitive resources.
DIFFICULTY: 🟥 Red (strenuous)
Horses are naturally sensitive to human emotions, making them incredible partners in this journey. Through ground-based horsemanship, we guide you through a hands-on experience to develop non-verbal communication skills, emotional agility, and tools to stay grounded in high-stress situations.
