Breathwork & Cold Plunge Workshop

Join us for a hands-on, in-person workshop led by Nordic Recovery, certified instructors of the Wim Hof Method. This experience is designed to help improve focus, build mental resilience, and reset your nervous system — using the power of breath and cold exposure.

Learn and practice the three pillars of the Wim Hof Method:

  • Mindset & focus training

  • Breathwork exercises

  • Cold water immersion (ice bath)

The benefits of this practice can include reduced stress, increased energy, enhanced recovery, and a greater sense of clarity. Explore & experience what’s possible when you combine breathing techniques and cold therapy — all in a safe, supportive setting.

  • WHO: Guardians only

    • We welcome all guardians (active & retired): Veterans, Active Military, Reserve, National Guard, Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue, EMS, Dispatchers, Corrections, and Federal Agents

  • WHEN: Saturday, October 4 @ 10 AM – 2 PM ET

    • Please arrive at 9:45 AM to get settled

  • WHERE: Patterson Fire Department

  • Note

    • No prior experience with breathwork or cold plunges necessary! Just bring yourself & an open mind :)

    • We will have 20 yoga mats available to use (first come, first served). Bring your own if you have one!

    • Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, and water bottle. Try not to eat a heavy meal before joining.
