Fly Fishing Cohort: May 2026
Journey with Another Summit into the world of fly fishing alongside your fellow guardians — whether you're completely new to fly fishing or looking to refine your technique.
Our cohort-style course is designed for anglers of all levels, making it the perfect opportunity to either start or deepen your journey. Over the course of 3 weekend sessions — two single-day sessions and one two-day camping session — you’ll learn everything you need to become a confident, knowledgeable angler and enjoy the outdoors in a new way. During this cohort, you'll learn essential fly fishing skills, techniques, and knowledge including:
Fly fishing tools and equipment
Casting and reeling techniques
Fish identification
Hydrology (how to "read" the water)
Ecology (lifecycles of fish & their food)
And more!
The first two sessions of this cohort will be single-day educational sessions on the water, while the third and final session of this cohort will be a two-day fly fishing retreat in scenic Roscoe, NY — the birthplace of western fly fishing. You'll get to enjoy two days of relaxing, fishing, and camping by the water with your fellow cohort members.
This course is 100% free. All equipment for this cohort is provided by Another Summit. Space is limited to ensure each participant receives individualized instruction and guidance.
