Adirondacks Canoeing Series 3
Take a break from the summer heat and join us on the third of our 2026 Adirondacks canoe camping trips β a relaxing 4-day, 3-night canoe camping adventure in the gorgeous Adirondack Park, NY.
This is a beginner-friendly canoe camping trip where you'll get to spend four days in one of the United States premier canoeing destinations, Adirondack Park. Over the course of the trip, you'll have the opportunity to learn the basics of canoeing, wilderness camping, and spend time relaxing and enjoying the perks of camping right on the water β including great activities such as swimming, fishing, and simply spending time with your fellow veterans and first responders.
This canoe-camping trip is in partnership with Nova Southeastern University, which is conducting a study to evaluate the effects of spending time in nature on the levels of perceived wellness and stress and stress hormones in veterans and first responders. Participation in the study is optional, and participants will receive a $100 Visa gift card as compensation for their time.
All necessary equipment and food will be provided. Transportation is provided from our office in Beacon, NY. No experience required. This outing includes a required pre-outing meeting taking place on Thursday, June 18th that will cover the trip itinerary, route, packing list, and introductions.
